Statue of Hameun It radiates intelligence, strong will, and determination
وهو تمثال معروض بمتحف هلدسهايم ، وقد صنع من الحجر الجيري وارتفاعه ١٥٦ سم ، وعثر عليه يونكر بمصطبته بالجبانة الغربية في الجيزة ، ويري يونكر أنه نحت بعد وفاة الملك خوفو حيث أنه كان قد حرم إقامة التماثيل الكاملة في حياته للأفراد.
It is a statue on display at the Hildesheim Museum. It was made of limestone and its height was 156 cm. Juncker found it in his mastaba in the western cemetery in Giza. Juncker believes that it was carved after the death of King Khufu, as he had forbidden the erection of full statues in his lifetime for individuals.
وقد مثله الفنان جالس علي كرسي بدون مسند ، وتدل اثار الالوان علي أن التمثال كان ملون ، فهناك اثار لشعره باللون الاسود وجسده البني المحمر.
The artist represented him sitting on a chair without an armchair, and the traces of the colors indicate that the statue was colored, as there are traces of his black hair and reddish-brown body.
ومثل التمثال واضعا يداه علي فخذيه واليمني مضمومة وبداخلها علامة (mk3) واليد اليسرى مبسوطة ، وأوضح جسمه الممتلئ وما تحته من شحم وعنقه الضخم وأنفه المميز وذقنه البارزة ورأسه المحلوق حياة الدعة والرفاهية لأفراد الطبقة العليا في الأسرة الرابعة وظهور اثار النعمة والثراء عليهم.
The statue was represented with his hands on his thighs, the right hand clenched, with a mark (mk3) inside, and the left hand outstretched. His plump body and the fat underneath, his huge neck, distinguished nose, prominent chin, and shaved head, showed the comfort and luxury of the members of the upper class in the Fourth Dynasty, and the appearance of traces of grace and wealth on them.
كما يتميز التمثال بصفات عديدة تدل علي أن الفنان قد اعتمد علي شخصية "حم ايون" عند نحت التمثال له ، فيظهر ذلك من الصورة الطبيعية لصاحب التمثال فملامح الوجه تنم عن صورة حية تنطق عن ذكاء كبير وإرادة قوية وتفيض جلال ومهابة.
The statue is also characterized by many characteristics that indicate that the artist relied on the character of “Hamm Ion” when sculpting the statue for him.
